Finally

The title sums up a heap of items, including being able to connect to the internet. Reception has been patchy at best. The mast is back in - Pedro at Sea Tek turned it around in exactly a week, and came in on budget (apart from the new turnbuckles that we added after the fact).
Our friend, fellow EHYC member and near neighbor, Morgan, arrived Friday, and helped with a test sail on Saturday to stress test the new rigging. Fortunately he stowed his kit before the final provisioning was completed, otherwise he may have suffered the same fate as Sam, whose cabin has been over taken by crates of potatoes and bunches of bananas.
If all goes according to plan, we will check out with the various officials and point Mulan in the general direction of the Marquesas tomorrow, March 29. Future updates will require the cooperation of radio propagation. We have feasted on tacos and flan several nights running, and said many goodbyes to cruising friends. While many are heading across the Pacific as well, it is a big ocean, and boats travel at different speeds, so there is no knowing when and in which bay we will reconnect.
