Had a spend up at Barnes & Noble. I bought the current Economist magazine, and see that the debate lingers as to whether there will be a double-dip recession. Clearly not much has changed in 12 months. Did I miss anything at all?
Also bought my first ever hard-cover fiction book. Must be a mid-life crisis issue. Having zoomed through Stieg Larsson's "The Girl who played with fire", I couldn't wait for the third and final book to make it to paperback. Anyway, at 30% off it was only double the paperback price, and I'm sure there will be other fans I can flog it off to when I get back (PJ, Morgan??).
Incidentally, I got book #2 at Costco - probably the best buying decision of the day, given my produce woes - see previous post.
