Marina, when we first saw her, was, to put it nicely, a smelly old dog. And we are fond of dogs, although we didn't want to be around one for long. We completely gutted her inside, leaving only the helm intact - for now, at least. Even the engine room had a chunk of hydraulics taken out to make way for a stairwell to our bedroom - The Stateroom, we call it.
The outside took on a new look - the cabin extended and an immovable hatch remodelled to create an easy outdoor living area. And what a difference a paint job makes!
What we have now is a comfortable, convenient, easy living space both inside and out that we now call our home - and it takes us on exciting adventures!
