COG 102 deg SOG 5.8 kts Partly cloudy with occasional shower/squall with highest wind 30kts Wind 10-15 kts ENE Seas less confused with dominant NE swell 2-3 meters. Beginning to feel like an arborial primate moving from handhold to handhold but everyone feels great and appetites are strong. Trying to catch a "shimi" fish as a captain in Montauk referred to bonito which had no market value due to their soft flesh but if eaten fresh, sashimi style with soy and wasabi, was the absolute best. Any tuna species will do.

Boat feels great. We hjave a constant wind and current slowing us down a bit but we are on schedule to arrive Palau late in the morning tomorrow which will give us time to pick our way through the channel in the barrier reef and get to local officials to take care of entry formalities. Palau is known for phenomenal diving, and gorgeous islands made out of limestone. It is also a shark sanctuary and has salt water crocodiles which may cause one to question the wisdom of the phenomenal diving! Will arrive in Koror on the island of Babelthuap. Will post some pics when we get good internet access.
