In an effort to enter the lagoon at Majuro before dark, early this morning, we pulled in the stabilizer paravane fish, applied gentle spurs to the beast by kicking up rpms to 2000 from 1800 and we are now screaming along at 6.4 knots! Everything is relative, of course, but we do gain about .5 kts with the fish out of the water. Our plan is to do a pretty quick turn around in Majuro and get on our way to Hawaii to try to get there by July 1 if everything goes according to plan. Don't know about wifi in Majuro. It has the dubious distinction as having the among the most expensive internet access in the world. The is a small internet cafe in the National Telecommunications building. The Marshall Islands comprise over 1000 islets, Majuro itself has 57 islets connected by a road around an oval lagoon. The surrounding area was the site of hydrogen bomb testing in the 50's most famously at Bikini atoll and there is still some missle testing which takes place near Kwajalein. We passed through some water marked on the chart as Hazardous Missle Operations although the only missles we encountered were immature blue footed Boobies who took an interest in our trolled lures and were preparing to dive bomb them before we reeled them in and tried to educate these goofy seabirds that there were more palatable targets out there, without hooks.

Yellowfin was really good. Notable that the sashimi disapperared before nori rolls, indicating quality, freshness and taste of the fish.

It is a nice day. Gentle swell, cooling breeze and bright sun. Flying fish continue to burst out of the water and glide over the swells using "ground effect" for the pilots out there. Last night was a new moon so the star show was spectacular. Looking up out of the pilot house the Milky Way is really evident and one can appreciate it on a macro scale as binoculars are futile on this nonstable platform.
