In March 2015 we purchased our second sailboat, a Hunter 31, intending to leave our land life behind and sail the world (or at least the Tennessee River). We have just a few obstacles:
The boat needs a few things:
1) Mast Raised
2) Cushions
3) Toilet
4) Table
5) Batteries
6) Anchor
7) Anchor Chain and Rope
8) Navigation System
9) VHF Radio
10) Bimini
11) Plumbing
Soooo, just a few things. :) We also have a few personal issues to resolve. Our youngest son would be entering high school the next fall and we're not sure about taking him out of traditional school when he needs to be taking advanced classes. We aren't independently wealthy, so we have to figure out how to support ourselves while cruising. So when we figure those things our and get the boat in sailing condition we'll be we'll be ready to go.
We anticipate that solving all these little issues will give us just enough time to learn to sail. Yup, we're clueless about sailing the boat. Guess it's not hard to see why we're N2Deep. Hope you enjoy the ride as we go from Zero to Cruising.
