Sooke to Bedwell Harbour

Our original plan this morning was to head for Cabbage Island and then on to Point Roberts the next day, however the weather gods were not with us on this as they forecast NW winds, not good for that anchorage. We had thick fog in the Strait of Juan de Fuca with 0 visibility.....Radar worked well as we maneuvered amongst a few fishing boats. The fog lifted as we approached Race Rocks and the skies were sunny, no sailing yet as the wind is still on our stern. Finally, as we rounded the point and head towards Bedwell harbour, we hoisted the spinnaker and had a great sail for an hour until the winds died. We had a quiet and enjoyable evening anchored in Bedwell Harbour.
