We spent a couple of days here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves although the anchorage was a bit rocky and rolly at night. This was where we saw our first Howler monkey while walking in town, there was a whole family of them in the trees along the roadway. We were there on a Saturday which meant we would be able to buy fresh produce at the travelling market in town, all of the produce was organic. It was a little pricy but nice produce! The first night we stayed in the north anchorage and the second night we went over to the south anchorage where it was a little better. In the early evening and morning you could hear the Howler Monkey, they sound like the dinasaurs in Jurasic Park. On the morning that we left we went up the river estuary, we saw a Spotted Ray, and heard lots of Howler monkeys and of course lots of birds talking away, it was pretty awesome!
