On our way to Isla Canal de Afuera
26 January 2013
Carole
We are just leaving Isla Secas and headed for Isla Canal de AFuera or if we can't stay there we will stay at Bahia Honda. We had a great day snorkeling yesterday the water was so clear we could see the ripples in the sand. We saw several tropical fish and Ken even saw a Moray Eel, good thing he was with 2 others, one of which had a spear gun if needed. After a great day of relaxing and playing we went to Gosling as they were hosting dinner for everyone last night. We sat on the deck of their boat with a full moon providing the light. We are now trying to figure out where the time zone changes, is it at the Panama border or around Panama City? We will figure it out, maybe we will ask the question on the net this morning.
Isal Canal de Afuera is know for great snorkeling but is part of the Coiba park system, we are hoping we can snorkel there without the park officials coming, if they do then we will move onto Bahia Honda as the fee is expensive to stay in the park. This will be around a 7 - 8 hour run today.
