Bahia Honda, Panama

Carole
We left early in the morning again so that we could have enough time to stop by Canal de Afuera which is part of the national park. The winds were good to us as we were able to sail for part of the trip over there, when we arrived it was hard to find a spot to secure the anchor so we knew this was only to be a short stop and then we would head to Domingo's in Bahia Honda for the night.
Ken and I snorkeled for the better part of an hour, we saw lots of small fish, Carole saw a turtle and we also saw lots of living coral, it was great! Just after we got back in the boat, we could see the park warden heading over to our friends boat, he told them we had just stopped for lunch and were leaving shortly......all was good. We arrived in Bahia Honda at Domingo's anchorage late afternoon and as soon as we were anchored Domingo and his son were at our boat offering us fresh fruit and veggies. The anchorage is just off of his property and the guides talk about Domingo and that he takes care of the cruisers needs. He is a great guy and is bringing us some veggies this morning. Today we will head over the Isla Cebaco and stay in an anchorage called Naranja, we will stay there all day tomorrow as well.
