Banao waiting for a weather window to the Las Perlas Islands

We have a 76 nautical mile trip today to Banao so we were up at 3am and left the anchorage at 3:30am on Jan 29th. We motored for the first couple of hours and then the wind picked up enough for us to sail, we were initially on a close haul and then it became a beam reach, we sailed until about 10:30am when the wind died. It was a great sail while it lasted but we need to get to our destination before dark so we must play around in the big pond and wait for the wind, we must motor along. But the wind came up again but so did the seas, winds went anywhere from 18 -30 knts and the seas were the worst, short and steep. We arrived in Banao around 6pm, this was not a very nice trip. While coming in our propeller started to cavitate and blow bubbles so we were not making very good speed. Russ checked our prop for us this morning and all is OK, we must have gotten something caught in it and it let loose when we got to the bay. The winds in this bay are up to 30 knot gusts which did not make for a very good night.
We checked the weather this morning and there is a window available today so we are off at around 11:30 - noon this morning. We will do an overnighter as we have 90 miles to go to our destination in the Las Perlas Islands. We are headed for Isla San Jose and we plan on anchoring in Ensenada Playa Grande.
