Touring around Panama City for a day

On Sunday we were invited to join our friends on a tour around Panama City, we went to the Old Town which is being restored, so lots of buildings under reconstruction and roads. There we had a coffee, bought some trinkets, went to the museum for the canal which was very interesting. After that we went to the fish market where most us had Cevichi and then it was off to MiraFlores locks.
We had a fantastic view of the locks and were able to see sailboats going through the lock. There were 10 oysters and a Choy Lee going through, we watched intently as the line handlers did their work and got a pretty good idea of how it all works. We had a great few hours with great friends.
After the tour we went back to the boat and relaxed before getting ready to go out to dinner that night. We went to a restaurant over by Flamenco marina called Baracuda, the food was excellent even the beef. We have had very little beef while down here as it is hard to find good beef that is tender like at home.
It was a great day out with Russ and Doreen off August Moon and Kim and Dave, thanks so much to them.
