We were looking for a little better internet to book some flight and hotels for our trip home, one of the cruisers on the net had told us about Nalia on the mainland in the San Blas, it had good internet as it was right by the towers.
So off we went, internet was good but the holding in the anchorage was questionable as it was a rocky bottom and we were concerned that the anchor would get stuck but we set anchor anyway.
We managed to book our flights and hotel so that was off our list now. The anchorage was quiet and not rolly at all, it was also protected from the winds which blow here during the night. We had a nice peaceful sleep.
The next day we headed over to Porvenir to check it our, this is where the airport is that is closed. The people on the island told us that is was supposed to be open in a month but apparently that is what they have been saying for many many months! The anchorage was rolly here so we headed back to Nalia for the night.
