East Lemmons

Carole
We were headed to the East Lemmons as they were having an Ulu race, these are the local dug out canoes with sails rigged in them. Again, the East Lemmons are much like the rest of San Blas, small Islands surrounded by reefs. One of the islands in the chain has a restaurant/bar on it and the locals sell their hand made molas from there houses. We spent a few days here and really enjoyed it, it was calm, the winds had decreased and we met several new cruisers.
Everything happens on Panama Time....manana! The BBQ that was supposed to happen after the races was very disorganized and did not take place until very late that day. Doreen and I helped them cut the veggies, etc ready for the hamburgers.
Whilst here we had a couple of the Master Mola makers come to the boat. Carole bought a couple more molas, these were very well done, you cannot even see the stitching.
