Rigging the Boat

03 April 2013 | Marmaris Turkey
Brian Hall

Tues & Wed April 2&3 2013
Sleeping in was the first order of the day! It was nearly 10 both days before we got moving – luxury!!
There were pieces to assemble and sails to install and Tuesday the weather co-operated. Dinner on board and a quiet night. Wed was a different story. The rain started early and it is always so easy to stay in bed on a rainy morning! Reading was all we needed to do this morning but after a lunch of soup – the package was Croatian and the taste included cheese and mint – Brian replaced the galley fawcett and some cabinet latches while Rene started a baby afghan. A trip to the library to Skype Jennifer and catch up on email pretty much completed the day. Dinner aboard and starting the blog took up the rest. A late day thunderstorm heralded the end of the rain. At least for a few days.
