Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday started off appropriately enough with someone on one of the other boats either with an electric guitar or an electric keyboard set up to sound like an organ playing some hymns. It was rather nice, you know, un-obtrusive but making the point? It's Easter!
Mary Lou and Jay came back last night after a short visit with family in Kissimmee (I think that's how you spell it) and brought back Jay's Mom for a visit. We have heard all sorts of stuff about her (all good) and we have been looking forward to meeting her at last and now we have. She is very nice and I'm glad to have met her and even more glad that both she and some of the rest of Jay's family will be visiting to see the launch tomorrow.
I have not been able to repair whatever the leak is in the cooling system for the engine but I have one last thing to do tomorrow. I will trace the line throughout the engine and over to the hot water heater and back again. With any luck it will be something simple that I can fix by tightening a hose clamp or something. If not it will have to wait until we get back to Halifax and get the boat out of the water. There are some things that I just don't want to tackle if there is any risk of incapacitating the engine or some other critical piece of the boat's mechanism. Like I said in another day's post, Florida is a nice place but for tax reasons I don't want to get stuck here.
I have almost finished the famous Turney mac 'n cheese for the pot luck tonight. All that remains is to pop it in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and whip it out, cover it with aluminum foil and carry it with all due reverence and pomp and circumstance to the dining area. After that it will just be a matter of standing back while the feeding frenzy begins.
Happy Easter everyone. I hope the Easter Bunny was kind to everyone.
