See?! Yesterday I didn't post anything and Barb picked up the slack. I'm not the only one who can blog in the family. Maybe I should make a point of getting her to do every other one or at least every third. Let's hear a rousing chorus of, "C'mon, Barb. You can do it!" Or perhaps, "We want Barb! We want Barb!......"
Yesterday she covered just about everything with the exception that the lady that made our breakfast crepes noticed the name Nelleke on the back of my jacket and asked if we knew another one of the cooks at the kiosk who also lived on his boat. His name is Peter, and as it happens we have met him as his boat is tied up at the Squadron. Small world, eh?
We are getting really close to being ready for the moving vehicles in a week's time. Almost everything that is going into storage is packed with the exception of the stuff in the office which is still getting daily use and the stuff that is going back to Nelleke has begun to be sorted out. My job is to decide which clothes in my cupboard I want to take back and separate the rest into what I want to keep and what I am prepared to give away. That won't take too long.
We are still finding the occasional mailing address that we communicate with or do business with that we have not yet sent out our change of address form to. Today two more cropped up. There are still some people with whom we must exchange snail mail comms and we need to make sure that they are updated. Even so, I am sure that at the end of things we will have forgotten one or two.
Tomorrow we both are having what we hope will be our last visit to the doctors at least until we return in May or June.
Sigh!
Oh my. Things are getting hectic.
