Just a quick thumbed missive to add to today's post. I started to try to cook dinner and lo and behold the propane solenoid wouldn't come on. Shriek! After a half hour of fiddling around both in the control panel and on deck in the propane locker it turned out that the problem was in the DC panel itself. Somehow the connection between the fuse, the hot wire and the connection to the switch got screwed up. We are cooking dinner tonight by hot-wiring the switch and tomorrow I will dig into it to make the proper fix.

Its nice to be able to fix these things yourself but I could do without the excitement. Guess who diagnosed the problem - yep. Barb. Go on ya babe!
