S/V NELLEKE

The ship's blog for SV Nelleke out of Shelburne, NS

Start off tomorrow

Still alongside in Shelburne. It looks like catching the early slack low at Brazil Rock will be the earliest that we could start. With that the first six to eight hours will be motoring or beating into light headwinds after which the wind will back around to the beam and then to dead astern for the following four days. Hurrah! We will leave SHYC early in the morning and head out to Cape Negro Island where we will wait and get some rest to try to hit the 0200 slack low tide which will mean a 2230-2300 departure. We will be able to give the wonder hound a last poopambulation and get some sleep before starting off.

If we have a connection I will send another short post confirming departure.
