Just wanted to add a few thoughts to what the two legged Mike said in his post today.

I must admit that I am still a bit bewildered aout the green mat business. I can remember that as aa pup that is where I would go, but I had thought that once I became a grown up dog I was supposed to hold it util they took me outside. Since we have begun to travel on this outside house that seems to have changed.. Green mat, green cushion, green carpet? Which is it? Are they deliberately trying to confuse a dog?

All I can do is growl and bark when I need to do something and hope that they will understand. Today although I used the green mat in the middle of the night and that seemed to make them happy it took them until after mid-day for them to understand that I really needed to go ashore.

What can a dog say?

By the way, my hooman Mum took this photo of me in front of the fireplace on board our floating house. It is not quite as cozy as the one in our house on the dirt but it will do in a pinch.
