We arrived safely at Trapani, Sicily, Italy on Friday afternoon. We were tied to the dock by 5:45. after an interesting visit with the border police we were allowed to stay. They had to figure out how we got to be in France with the boat in 2006 and then by air this month. We cleaned up and went into town for dinner. This town doesn't start to come allive until after 10:00pm. It seems that everyone comes out at night with their entire family to walk around and visit with their friends. Many of them bring their lawn chairs and set up on the sidewalks with a table full of beferages. I guess it is too hot during the day to be outside and they don't look like they have air conditioning. Five days - 514 Nm.
