We visited the Greek ruins at Selinunte on Wednesday and were very tired when we came back so didn't update the blog. We took the train then the bus to get there from the marina. This was quite the adventure but we were able to find a lot of help along the way. This Greek city dates back as far as the 7th century BC. The Carthagenians destroyed it in 409 BC. Then it changed a few more times including a period with the Romans. This is the largest archeologic park in Italy. We had a great time doing the tourist thing and then had some pizza when we came back.
