Grand Anse d'Arlets
We arrived at Grand Anse d'Arlets on Martinique's west coast yesterday after a 2.5 hour sail from St Anne. This is a small beach resort town visited by French people and some sailboats in the bsmall bay. All of the business owners are complaining about the small tourist crowd from France due to the ongoing SNCF strike there. We are making preparations for our 4 day passage to Curacao for tomorrow.
P.S. from Monica-the crab was entertaining Mike on the beach while I hiked with my 10 kilo laundry bag to the nearest laundry.
P.S.S. from Monica we have 500 miles on this final passage leg and the winds will be steady at 20 knots and higher. Pray for our vigilance, our faithfulness, and our joy in this last 'long haul'.
