West Wind!
28 June 2014 | Pacific Ocean
Alice
The SW breeze lifted us last night and pushed us today into the arms of the west winds that carry us today. We passed through rain and strong 25kt winds this morning before the weather eased a bit and gradually veered to a westerly, allowing us to head NE, toward the BC coast. Young albatross was back this morning, gliding along off our bow.
Last night there were many jellyfish lighting up the dark sea as we rode through. I had been looking for jellies since we left Oahu.... we are accustomed to their part in the phosphorescent sea....but there have been very few until this latitude.
All is well on True Blue We send our love, Alice, Kate, and Pam
