Always amazed how close we can get to the Statue of Liberty!

Cruised through NYC a couple of days ago which is such a cool experience. Lots of activity in the harbor: barges, Lady Liberty, ferries, tugs, 911 Tower and
other sailboats. Quite a ride and then we just kept moving down Long Island Sound on a very warm, summery day. Hope to be back in NH tomorrow.

Finally arrived in our home harbor after a very long day. Our friend's Jonathan and Christine welcomed us home properly with food and champagne! We enjoyed their company in the harbor, catching up on the latest news. Looking forward to all the comforts of home!

The weather threw us a curve ball and we ended up spending 4 days in delightful Deltaville, Virginia! Lovely marina to be at during the strong north winds. We left there today and made it to Mill Creek in Maryland to anchor for the night. The wind has finally stopped and we are enjoying a semi quiet night considering it's Memorial Day weekend.

Crossed the Virginia line today leaving behind some pretty places in NC.
