Bashing across the Madagascar Channel in rough conditions but all is OK

We stayed north and had a bumpy but nice evening, then early this morning the waves started to build and we're trying to keep our speed down to decrease the bouncing and stress on the rig and crew. We slowed to 5kts all night and have headed north west to find the best wave angle for the ride. We'll probably see the wind swing south then east over time, but right now it's on the nose straight from Richards Bay and we're close hauled with a double reefed jib alone. All is well, so far so good.!
