Hired a car & went to Kuah for shopping etc. Always includes a trip to Multiquip. You have a boat; you go to Mutiquip. Found a pump for the watermaker. New Sim cards for phones. Have to learn new numbers again. Phoned Adrian, the electrician and he will come tomorrow.
Called in to see Dr Chong the dentist. His diagnosis disagrees with the dentist in Thailand and says it is not suitable for root canal (much cheering) but thinks it will give trouble & should come out (cheering abated). But he gave in & did a patch up temporary job that he was not happy about.
Wednesday night, so we called in at the Sailors’ Dinner but just long enough to socialise before the meal. Would have been too late back to Telaga if we had stayed even though the delicious aroma of the food cooking was tempting.
