Our first time sailing in Scotland has been a revelation, such good anchorages, free moorings and very inexpensive marinas. Our first time sailing in Scotland has been a revelation, such good anchorages, free moorings and very inexpensive marinas. We are now in Tarbert which is a beautifully maintained, unspoilt harbour town. Our plan is to move up to have a look at the Crinan Canal, before heading back to our home mooring in the Menai Straits, via the west Irish coast.
If any experienced yachties can suggest interesting places, waypoints, anchorages, we'd be pleased to hear about them.
