Hello from King Neptune's Kingdom
25 March 2010 | The Equator
The Nika Little Crew
We have just crossed the Equator and are looking forward to arriving at the Galapagos islands tomorrow. Daddy did a good ceremony for going across the Equator and Jesse Tyler Mum and I have now all entered King Neptune's club. Daddy crossed it when he was little. We dressed in green, popped some partypoppers and ate chips and a tiny bit of rum. It was horrible! We sacrificed a green apple and a bit of rum to the sea gods and we will now be protected from the sharks, whales, dolphins, mermaids and other sea creatures of the deep sea. Dad tried to scare us by saying we had to sacrifice one of the kids overboard - we didn't believe him - silly Dad! We can't wait to see the giant tortoises at Galapagos - we need to keep Pengers (Tyler's favourite fluffy toy) away from the real penguins! We also are looking forward to seeing our friends on Grace, Merlin and Victoria who all have kiddies onboard.
