Giants found on St Helena!

Yesterday saw us heading off on our tour of St Helena in the back of a Datsun pick-up. Among many of the highlights our Tour Guide Robert took us to see were: Briars Pavillion - the place where Napoleon spent his first few days in exile whilst waiting for the refurbishment of Longwood House (we visited this property soon after), then onto Napoleons Tomb (he was originally buried here but exhumed in 1840 and taken to Paris) and finally to Plantation House which is not only the residence of the Governor of St Helena but also the home of Jonathan, the 175 year old giant tortoise and his friends, Emma, David, Myrtle and Fredrika. Having completed our fascinating tour of the island, it was time to say "Farewell" to St Helena as we lifted the anchor at 16:00 and steadily motored away. We'd certainly recommend as visit if ever you're passing. The clock now read 1,837 nautical miles til the Brazilian Coast so with that in mind, we quickly settled back into the 'watch' system with all bar Jackie being tucked up in their beds by 19:30! Remember to click on the sideline 'Where are we now' to keep up-to-date with our progress. Best wishes to everyone from all aboard.
