What a Great Day

Saturday 17/01 will be remembered for 2 great excitements. First despite having a plentiful supply of fish we wanted to catch a Dorado. Not only are they very beautiful fish they taste fantastic. Out went the lines with two new lures on and before too long both had been taken. Yes we had two Dorado hooked. They were much easier to land as unlike the tuna that dive deep, the Durado try and throw off the hook by leaping in the air! Both arrived at the stern of the boat but one managed to get away before he was fully secured. Adrian, with the help of Luke got the other safely on board. Photo to follow. With supper in the fridge and the remainder in the freezer we have put the lines away for a few days. The second excitement was when Luke spotted some Dolphins. Whilst we had seen dolphin before they had neve swam right alongside. This time we were kept entertained for more tan a couple of hours by more than 50 dolphins. Some of them put n spectacular displays of leaping out of the water whilst others just cruised along in the bow wave. It was a magical experience and we will share it with you when we have edited the video. Enough excitement for one day other than the joy of supper - fresh Dorado! Will hopefully make Fortaleza, our next stop, on Tuesday. All on board send you our best from the South Atlantic.
