Men At Work

The Crew /30 deg C, Brilliant Sunshine but with Occasional showers
Well, 'Man at Work' actually! A Sunday afternoon and there's no stopping Adrian getting his fingers dirty cleaning up Oceans Dream's starboard saildrive. We tend to catch up on day-to-day domesticated chores on a Sunday too but have yet to enjoy a Sunday roast on board.
Unlike weekdays, a typical Sunday at our current residence of Peakes Yard is unbelievably quiet. Usually there's ample opportunity to people watch as the yard is a hive of activity and a normal weekday afternoon consists of meeting with various guys quoting on the warranty work whilst supplying them with copious cups of tea. In fact, some just stop by for a cup of tea now! When we go for a walk, we generally bump into someone we know and this tends to hit home how long we've been here in Trinidad. Many of the friends we've made have headed 'up island' (towards Grenada, St Vincent, Mustique etc) and plan to come back to Trinidad for the hurricane season so we'll no doubt to see them upon their return.
Jackie's just booked flights to St Lucia to meet up with her parents next month whilst Adrian will stay at base camp to oversee the warranty work which will hopefully have begun in earnest after such long delays.
Best regards to All Our Followers.
