Last night I went out for pizza with some friends at a local. Few pub. The pizza and hand crafted beers were realy good. We stopped on a place with a pool table and played quite a bit. I don't want to brag, but I was unbeatable on the table. After leaving that place, we ended up on True Companion, the other CSY 44 in the Marina. It turned out to be a late night by the time everyone went home.
Today I decided to create work for myself by sawing a section out of the main cabin wall. This created a large opening that allows books to be shelved there. I've never had a proper space for books, and a boat carries a fair number related to weather, charts, anchoring and knots. I'm still cleaning up the saw dust! Today for no apparent reason my lap top started to work a bit better. Now it gets internet, but it is still slow as heck. I took the dinghy for about 1/2 hour in the bay. The area where the marinas are is pretty long, about 10 -15 miles or more. The water is calm so I was able to blast along at full speed. Had a relaxing evening on the boat.
