Costa Baja
We arrived in La Paz to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, with a 3-day stay in the Costa Baja resort. The welcoming sunset at the airport was amazing. While the place itself was very nice, it was a bit less than the 5-star resort advertised. For example the pools were not heated, and the restaurants were pretty poor. Small things, I know, but part of the package. We did have a great massage, and a long hike around the area, which gave spectacular views. We took the shuttle into La Paz proper the second two days to get dinner.
My last time in La Paz ending with me being searched at the airport, where I met a great guy named Rick. He suggested that I try a place called Tail Hunters for dinner. So Susan and I went there, asking for Raul and Jerry, as Rick had suggested. The food was so good that we ended up eating there two nights in row.
