It is a little breezy this morning, keeping things cool for now. The plans for today are to buy a few parts for the motor while awaiting the possible delivery of our repaired water pump. Mike is helping our friend Liz with buying a new battery for her car. After running all over town, Mike and Liz got the car battery replaced, and also picked some parts up for me. With a drivable car now available, we loaded up her car and headed out for lunch. After a trip to the market, we were once again at the dock.

My mechanic, Scott, dropped by to tell me the pump was not going to be ready today, so I painted some more engine parts, and took an afternoon siesta. As the sun set, the crews from Scout and Odyssey loaded up in Liz's car once again to find dinner. After a nice pizza meal, we all wondered down to the Malecon to look over all the race trucks that had just finished the Baja 1000 race. Four of us walked home from there, leaving the others to retrieve the car.

The night was cool and quiet, so sleep came easy. However, even inside the Marina, the sounds of sea life continued, with fish crashing into the hull, and splashing as they either fled or pursued each other throughout the night.
