Heading to the Dock

Bill, Stormy and cold
01/15/15
Although the winds were noisy at times throughout the night, we slept soundly. Once again, the morning looked stormy, and the winds showed no signs of weakening. After a quick card game, which Susan won, we weighed anchor and headed south towards La Paz. The winds were mostly at our backs, and we motored the whole way with sails up and down, depending on the conditions. We had one possible strike on one of our lures off of Isla Ballena, but we would not score a fish from trolling on this entire trip. We arrived in early afternoon, docking without incident, and were greeted by friends on the dock. The next hours were spent rinsing everything off, stowing equipment, and getting things squared away. We had a nice dinner out with our friends Greg and Liz. Then we were in bed early, still feeling the roll of being at sea.
