DAY 72 - Oeiras

25 August 2015
Wow what an amazing marina, just a stones throw from Lisbon. This is definitely one that we'd stay longer at if we weren't needing to take advantage of the weather and head south. The marina has a salt water Olympic sized swimming pool, complete with diving boards (Ricky braved the second highest!!) that is free to berth holders. We were given free wine vouchers on check in and woke up to freshly baked rolls placed on our deck this morning. A really nice touch. Some of old gang are here, the crew of Delphinus and Moondance , all we need is Calypso and Peneloppe 3 and it would be like an old school reunion .

We'll be sad to leave the commodore and his wife from Dreamcatcher, but they are flying back to blightie for their daughter Amy's wedding. We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness and hope they have a wonderful day.

Tomorrow we are heading out early and seeing if we can clock off a few miles, while the weather and sea are kind.
So me hearties - who knows where next blog may come from?
Take care,
Donna and Ricky xx

Sad times as evidence is piling up on our shores confirming that we are not looking after our planet.
