We started around 90 minutes ago. I hope you saw our live stream on the “Sailing Offbeat” Facebook page.

The wind was very light at the start line 6-7 kts, we hoisted the big pink asymmetric spinnaker to match our very pink polo shirts, but still were only sailing around 3.5kts.

We decided to head out to sea and the breeze soon increased to 10 kts allowing us to sail around 6 kts through the water.

A few boats put their engines on after 15 minutes but the majority are sailing.

All happy on board, we’ve just had a cuppa!
