Olive
Hi friends! I apologize for the lapse in my blog. My humans have been terrible about keeping it up to date. How are my fans supposed to know what's going on in my life? Well, let me fill you in:
We continued northward to the Norfolk/Portsmouth, Virginia area where they left my home and dragged me (by car!) all the way to Houston for a two month "hurricane" break. While in Houston at an apartment I endured many days in the company of Sandra while Rick went off to work. I thought he retired? It was hot, the porch was full of mosquitos, and I even had to get shots. Let me tell you I was happy to be going back to the boat in early September. Here in Great Bridge, Virginia, the nights are cool and the air is full of delicious smells, so I decided to sleep outside one night (much to the surprise of my humans!). The next day I got micro-chipped. I am now waiting for my humans to get the boat ready for cruising so we can get back to exploring the Chesapeake area. We should be underway shortly. The needy man (aka "Simon") is still doing well and bossing me around, but I eat his food when he is not looking.
