Sunset on the York River

Well, we are making SLOW progress up the Chesapeake Bay. The north winds are relentless. Nevertheless the captain decided to move the house northward one day against this wind, and that made for an unhappy kitty! Too much up and down. To insure my humans knew how much this displeased me, I let them have it from both ends. Luckily the cockpit is equipped with a spray shower, so the mess disappeared quickly. So now we are parked at Gloucester, up the York River across from Yorktown, which was where Lord Cornwallis surrendered to General George Washington to effectively end the American Revolution. Beautiful sunsets!
