In our nation's capital

Well, here we are in Washington, DC after a delightful 2-day trip up the Potomac. My humans were taking me to Annapolis but stopped in Solomon's Island, Maryland for a week. The Annapolis leg was changed after waking up one morning to 35 degrees! So they slept in and missed the window to go farther north. Washington is nice since Sandra has never been there and I do let my humans have their way occasionally. We are now parked next to a houseboat with my new best friends - two himilayans that look just like me but with longer hair. I jump over and visit them when my humans aren't looking. Also met a very nice man that Rick used to work with. Looks like we will be here for a week at least as the captain is still trying to fix the depth sounder. Sandra is getting to visit the various attractions, which leaves me and the Needy Man to wrestle for space on the fleece blankets. I hope we are headed south soon so the Needy Man will quit complaining about his cold "sticks" (i.e., legs).
