20180712 Pulau Penjalin, Lat 03 Deg 23.585 Lon 106 Deg 26.888'E We has a couple of days at Pulau Selai, on the first day we explored all over in the dinghy, and went ashore in a couple of places, we stayed yesterday due to unsettled weather and had a pretty boring old day on the boat. We met a nice fisherman, who we invited on board for a chat, he spoke no English and us no Indonesian, but with the help of a book we managed to have a quite a chat. Some other fishermen sold us a Pink Snapper, and we had it for dinner both nights, it was great. We went into to Pulau Mandariuau Bay this morning, but another boat was in there, we had a chat on the radio, we could have anchored, but I thought it was a bit tight, and as it was only lunch time and with a nice breeze blowing we decided to sail over here. This is beautiful, but there is a swell getting in on the beam, so we are rolling a bit, but there is 2 beaches and plenty to explore so we will put up with it. We anchored in 15.2 meters, with 1.1 meters of tide at Selat Peninting, the anchor took a little while to set, but set well when it did. So alls good and looking forward to getting off the boat tomorrow, the weather is still very overcast, which is a shame, but not much we can do about it.
