20180810 Tarempa Lat 03 Deg 13.149'N Lon 106 Deg 13.151'E This is a delayed post as I forgot to do one last night. After a piece full night at the Waterfall Anchorage, we Motored around to Tarempa. We went straight ashore to sus out when the authorities would be open, and it seemed the best bet was to get it all done straight away, as we want to Stay in Indonesia, but clear out of the Anambas. We had a very productive day, got all the stamps we needed except Harbour Master, who was more than helpful, but wanted to clear us out first thing the next day. We got food, fuel, Gigs for the phone, pretty much everything we needed. We then went ashore in the Evening for Dinner, we tried out Bobbies Restaurant which had been recommended, and we are glad we did, we had a nice meal. But we had a nice surprise when walking back, we got a call from our Son (Which is a Huge Surprise!!), who was in Arghus in Denmark watching his girlfriend Lyn sailing in the Nacra 17 worlds, we had a nice chat as he sat on the lawn watching the race, then after he hung up we carried on our way only to go past some people in a stilt house over the water with an outside telly watching that very race, so we sat down with them and watched Lyn get a well deserved 5th place, and take over the lead in the regatta. It was fun trying to explain why we were so interested, we can speak next to no Indonesian, and them no English, but we managed to get the message across, it was a good night. The people were so welcoming, at first we just stood on there verandah watching, and before you knew it, they had chairs for us and we were part of the family.
