20180814 No Name Anchorage Lat 01 Deg 00.292'N Lom 104 Deg 08.371'E After a lousy night bobbing up and down last night, We got away early and had an trouble free crossing of Singapore Straight. Then we enjoyed some nice sailing for the rest of the day, we had a look at a few anchorages and settled on this one, it seems quite nice, the current is holding us side on to the wind, but its no problem at the moment. It will be good to get a nice sleep tonight, it was a nice run down here from the Anambas about 150 miles as the Crow flies, we sailed almost all of the way, it was on the nose but not too strong, I enjoyed it, and the boat made easy work of it as usual, she goes to weather OK, but doese'nt like it when you pinch too much.( Jan didn't enjoy it as much as me). We have wanted to have a good look around this neck of the woods for a few years, as previously we have had to rush through. So alls good with us and the boat, apart from looking a bit scruffy (Us and the Boat) alls well. We dropped the pick in 13.3 meters with 1.2 meters at Tanjunguban, It pulled up well, Mud would be my guess. I got this anchorage from someone but not sure who, thanks to whoever it was, its a nice spot.
