20190127 AO Chalong Lat 07 Deg 49.052'N Lon 098 Deg 22.666'E Another nice day today, not as much wind as yesterday but enough, the course today had a lot more west in it than the last few days so I was sailing quite deep, I managed to 2 sail reach all day, so didn't have to mess around with the Spinnaker Pole. I initially went over to the anchorage at AO Chalong near the jetty, but it was packed, the only spot I could find was way out quite exposed, and sloppy, So I came over this side which is just beautiful, I will take the dinghy over in the morning to check in, its a big trip in the dinghy but it planes just nice with 1 person on board so shouldn't take long, and the wind will blow me ashore if I end up rowing for some reason. I'm probably here for a few days, not much to do really, I have hardly used any fuel, I will just get some fresh Fruit and Veggies. And I might pick up a few bits and pieces from Taskers. I'm glad I came up here,it was a really great sail, quite fresh at times, and I think this will be a better spot to leave for the Maldives. So all good and here for a couple of days.
