20190214 200 Miles from the Sri Lankan coast. Lat 06 Deg57.46'N Lon 085 deg 18.145' E Cog 254 T Cog 6.2 knots. Still heading for the southern end of Sri Lanka.
A bit less wind today but still making a good pace due to a helpful Current. I jibed on to port tack just now and this is more comfortable, the wind is slowly dropping, but there are still some waves around causing us to roll and spill the air from the sails. So alls going Ok ,I'm just sick of this dead down wind stuff. I got some good sleep last night, there was no traffic at all. I saw my first boat today, a fishing boat from Sri Lanka, all painted up it looked great. They seemed like pretty nice blokes, after Booze and Smokes, once they realised I had none we had a pretty good chat, it was a bit of fun and broke up the day. Not much else to say, I wouldn't mind a shave, but would probably cut my throat with all of this rolling around. Lat 06 Deg57.46'N Lon 085 deg 18.145' E Cog 254 T Cog 6.2 knots.
