We had a nice time at Kolamaafushi did lots of exploring in the dinghy, some snorkelling, and went into the village. It was a nice town all very well kept, the locals were very friendly. It was election day so it was a holiday, but there were a few shops open. We were treated to a cup of coffee and some snacks for free, then one of the local Tuna boat skippers took us on board his boat for a look around, it was pretty impressive 105' Long 650 HP, does 14 knots. He did say how much fish it can carry but I cant remember, we had a good look around, he was a nice bloke and we enjoyed the tour a lot. We moved out here to the reef this morning, we motored down here slowly making some water along the way. We have been for a snorkel already, there were just so many fish of all shapes and sizes. They are not scared of us and we can just swim amongst them, its a lot of fun. We are anchored in 21 meters, over sand the holding seems OK. We may stick around tomorrow.
