Well the wind finally died at about lunchtime today, and I have been motoring all afternoon, there have been quite a few rainstorms about, but not to nasty as yet, and no lightning. I had a pretty good run with the wind, it has been picking up in the evenings, so hopefully I can sail again soon. I was a bit busy last night with rain squalls, but managed to get a fair bit of sleep. I got the monitor self steering going this morning to try and save on power, I did a fair bit of work to it this year and it was working quite well until the wind died, we are back on the electric pilot now. Everything is going quite well, there are still some rain squalls around but there seems to be less, so hopefully they miss us tonight, I sleep in the cockpit and the rain tends to spoil it a bit. That's about it. Fingers crossed for some wind.
