Today started off cloudy but cleared up a bit for a little while, it is raining again now though. It was pretty straight forward day really, about 18 knots of breeze on the beam, then a dark cloud will pass over and the wind increases to a bit over 20. I only have a double reefed main and staysail set, which is a bit small, but perfect when the clouds pass over, there are some pretty big swells passing through, but we are just going up and over them, every now and then you get a bit of spray back in the cockpit, with the occasional bucket load. It's not bad sailing, but the luff of my main is fluttering and driving me mad, I have tried all sorts to stop it but no luck yet. We are nearly half way, I had expected to be over half way by now, but I'm sailing pretty carefully, I could be going a knot faster if I wanted to, but still setting an Ok pace, I have been over 6 knots all day. That's about it, alls well, the wind generator even seems happy at the moment.
