Datca

26 June 2018 | Little Russian boat anchored in Datca
Hot, caroline
Tied up at the quay, after spending a night in the bay, saw a russsian boat of only 20 feet, with a couple on it. We managed after much asking and walking get to the Bosch dealer who also handles the sales and service of the Singer sewing machines in Datca, we bought a really good solid cast mechanical machine for $330 NZ, wrapped with the purchase as now I can have the Sailrite set all the time for Heavy duty sewing and this one for my domestic sewing!

We filled the boat with a large amount of non-perishable goods of longlasting dates for our further voyages as its very cheap here in Turkey and easy walking distances for the supermarkets in Datca. We are hoping to only have perishables to purchase in the Canaries for our trip across the Atlantic, so we can spend more time exploring the islands.
Went to the Saturday market up at the bus station and bought some gifts.
